Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of the Zamok World platform. Please read them carefully — they form a binding agreement between you and Zamok World.
1. Who we are
Zamok World ("Zamok", "we", "us") operates an online marketplace that connects clients with independent service professionals ("Specialists"). By creating an account or otherwise using the platform you ("you", "User") agree to these Terms of Service.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into binding contracts under the laws of your jurisdiction. You agree to provide accurate information when registering and to keep your account credentials confidential. One person or legal entity per account.
3. Role of Zamok World
Zamok is a venue. We do not perform the services advertised on the platform, and we are not a party to any agreement formed between a Client and a Specialist. We do not employ Specialists. We are responsible for the platform itself, account security, payments processing and dispute mediation as set out below.
4. Contracts between users
When a Client accepts a Specialist's offer (or vice versa), a binding service contract is formed directly between those two users. The agreed price, scope and delivery time displayed in the platform are the agreed terms of that contract. Both parties must perform in good faith. You must not contact the other party off-platform to circumvent fees, and you must not attempt to bypass our payment system.
5. Payments and escrow
Once an offer is accepted, the agreed amount is held in escrow by Zamok until work is delivered and accepted. Specialists may request a withdrawal of completed-contract earnings to a verified IBAN bank account; withdrawals are typically processed within 1–3 business days. Platform service fees are deducted automatically and are shown before each transaction.
6. Refunds
If work is not delivered, or is delivered but does not match the agreed scope, the Client may open a dispute within 7 days of delivery. Funds in escrow remain frozen until the dispute is resolved. Where the dispute is resolved in the Client's favour, the relevant amount is refunded in full or in part. Withdrawals already paid out are not subject to recall except where required by law.
7. Acceptable use
You may not post unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, harmful, harassing, defamatory or infringing content. You may not impersonate another person, scrape the platform, attempt to interfere with our infrastructure, or use Zamok to launder money or evade taxes. We may suspend or terminate any account that violates these rules.
8. Intellectual property
You retain ownership of the content you upload. By posting, you grant Zamok a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display and reproduce that content as needed to operate the platform. Deliverables produced under a service contract are owned by the Client on full payment, unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
9. Disclaimers and liability
The platform is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Zamok disclaims all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Our aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the platform fees you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or close accounts for breach of these Terms, for security reasons, or to comply with a legal obligation. Funds rightfully owed to you at the time of termination remain payable.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Where the change is material we will notify you in-product or by email at least 14 days before it takes effect. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
